A drum set built from cardboard looks cool, but it also sounds great
This cardboard company built a mold for shaping epoxy and cardboard drums. With the drum shells built, they move on to a drum shop to fit them with drum heads.
After bolting on the hardware and tuning up the heads, they move to Bomb Shelter Studio to have Eric Kretz, drummer for Stone Temple Pilots, try them out.
As it turns out, the cardboard drums work pretty well.
"I can't believe how strong they are... and the tone is there, too."
