Trim-Out Tip: Cleaner Tile Cuts (Sandpaper for Ceramic)

March 23, 2018

Diamonds are ceramic tile cutter's best friend. Ok, they are not, but they sure can improve a sanding pad.

When cutting ceramic tile, you often wind up with a chipped edge along the cut. Yes, cut edges can die into the corners, but they are still visible at the grout line.

To clean that up, remodeler Ben Bogie uses a diamond-crusted sanding pad

"I like to just break the edges after I make the cut. It softens them a little bit."

—Ben Bogie, remodeler

For clean joints, every time.
