The cause of sinking or settling concrete slabs is the soil underneath rather than the slab itself. In this video, Erickson Foundation Supportworks uses the Poly Level System to fix a deeply cracked and settled slab.
The process involves marking sections on the surface, drilling holes through the slab, and inserting ports. A polymer substance is then sprayed into the holes, filling the void underneath the slab. The polymer foam expands and solidifies, lifting and stabilizing the concrete slab. After leveling the slab, surface cracks and portholes are sealed, and finishing touches are applied.
